I'm immersed in the process of stitching life back together after personal losses during the pandemic. And reminded of a beautiful clutch bag that a friend made for me using free-style machine and hand-embroidered patterns on a background of material left over from her quilting projects. And pondering how to represent the illusion of texture in soap with a similar color palate.
Not coincidentally, I'm fascinated by the visible mending trend, where a battered-but-well-loved garment is given a second, vibrant life with unexpected materials and stitching. Holes reveal the surprising cheer of the patched area.
We're all going through our own regeneration as we climb out of some dark times. Let's be kind to each other. Not all of our mending is necessarily visible.
Ingredients (Vegan base oils): Made with Glee, plus coconut, organic sustainable palm, high oleic sunflower, avocado, olive, Shea butter, castor oils + distilled water, Sodium Hydroxide, sodium lactate, sugar. Thoughtfully combined with essential oils of lavender 40/42, bergamot and orange 10x. Soap chips. Cosmetic-grade mica.

For a longer-lasting soap, allow bar to dry between uses away from shower spray (Soap Nets are highly recommended for thorough draining). This is a natural product made without chemical preservatives or synthetic fragrances, so it has a shelf life. Use your Aroma Art Soap within six months to a year for most vivid color and scent.
