BarbBEAT and Weird Wisdom soaps are a homage to the effervescent, sly feminism of this past summer's blockbuster, The Barbie Movie.
The Luna soap making technique swirls bands of ombre colors into a confection of mesmerizing patterns with luminescent highlights. I chose variations of our heroine's signature pink with black & white ombre stripes for the color palette.
BarbBEAT is scented with a sweet citrusy/floral essential oil blend of lavender, orange, and litsea cubeba. Bar highlights include a Barbie stamp side detailing with a pink, white and black swirled topper.
Weird Wisdom is scented with an energizing floral/minty essential oil blend of lavender, peppermint and spearmint. A gold embossed doll head graces the front of the bar with pink sparkle eco-glitter detailing on the top.
Thanks to director Greta Gerwig for her smart. entertaining, socially conscious take on the inner life of the iconic fashionista. Greta - you have your finger on the pulse of the feminist heartbeat - the BarbBEAT, if you will 😘

Ingredients (Palm-Free): Made with glee, plus a palm-free blend of coconut, avocado, lard, olive, high oleic sunflower and castor oils + Shea butter. Distilled water, lye, powdered sugar + sodium lactate. Pure essential oil blends. Colored with cosmetic micas with stamp and eco glitter detailing.
