A cheerful, moisturizing bar, perfect for navigating winter dryness into the balmier days ahead.

This soap was made for a "Crazy Layers" design challenge: creating a soap with four+ layers, no repeats, and no using solid color as a layer - no extra embellishments. 🤔 How to meet those parameters without the final design devolving into a mishmash, aka "dog's breakfast" (a colorful term from Mom's Irish roots, which she used to refer to the state of our untidy bedrooms 😬)?

I decided to keep a similar, bold color palette to the layers to draw it all together, coupled with an bright lavender/anise/citrus blend of pure essential oils and vivid cosmetic mica color for an energized, attention-grabbing look. Castor oil, cocoa + Shea butters add extra moisturizing skin support to combat seasonal dryness. 

The confetti-styled, soap topping reminded me of the "mind blown" emoji, and aptly summed up the last, hectic weeks of 2022. 
 
What does 2023 have in store? I remain optimistic. ❤️
